My daily beliefs are:

I believe that everything happens for a reason and that every experience teaches us something important. I live by the words in the Bible, especially the scripture Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV), which reminds me that God has plans to prosper me and guide my future. This verse gives me peace and confidence that no matter what challenges I face; I am always in God’s hands. It encourages me to trust the process, stay faithful, and keep working toward the purpose God has for my life.

 

The movie/book that most influenced my life:

The book “Sometimes You Win, Sometimes You Learn for Teens” by John C. Maxwell has greatly influenced my life because it teaches that mistakes and failures are not the end, but opportunities to grow and learn. The book helped me understand that success comes from learning valuable lessons, staying determined, and improving every day. It inspired me to develop a positive mindset and to view challenges as important steps that help me become stronger, wiser, and better prepared for the future.

 

Who I would like to meet and why:

I would like to meet someone who has achieved great success through determination, hard work, and faith. I admire people who overcome obstacles and still choose to inspire and help others. Meeting someone like that would allow me to learn from their experiences and gain advice on how to continue growing as a young leader and role model.

 

I am motivated by:

I am motivated by the vision of seeing myself succeed and accomplish great things in life. I often think about the future and the places my hard work and dedication can take me. I am also motivated by my faith and the belief that God has a purpose and plan for my life. This motivates me to stay focused, keep improving, and never give up on my dreams.

 

What I would like the judges to know about me:

I would like the judges to know that my platform, H.O.P.E, comes from my own personal journey, and it has helped shape the person I am today. Through my experiences, I have learned the importance of staying positive, believing in myself, and trusting that even difficult moments can help us grow stronger. I value leadership, kindness, and perseverance, and I always strive to uplift the people around me. My goal is to continue developing as a leader while inspiring other young people to believe in themselves and recognize their own potential.

 

My community service/achievements are:

I am actively involved in leadership and service within my school community. I serve as the Secretary of the Interact Club, where I help organize meetings and assist in planning community service projects that support others and give back to the community. I am also the Sports Manager for the Senior Boys’ team at my school, where I help with organization and support the team during practices, games, and school events.

In addition, I am a member of the Ranfurly Club and Student Government, where I work with fellow student leaders to represent the student body and contribute ideas that help improve our school environment. Through these roles, I have developed leadership, teamwork, and communication skills while learning the importance of serving others.

 

Describe yourself in three words:

Ambitious – I am ambitious because I set high goals for myself and work hard to achieve them. I am always pushing myself to grow, improve, and reach bigger opportunities in life.

Resilient – I am resilient because even when I face challenges, I continue to move forward and learn from my experiences. I believe strength comes from overcoming obstacles and not giving up.

Genuine – I am genuine because I always try to be my true self and treat others with honesty and kindness. I believe being authentic allows me to build real connections and positively impact the people around me.
