• I plan on being impactful by sharing my story of overcoming self doubt and insecurity so that people know that I can relate to how they feel and that I truly understand. As I seek to help others, at every opportunity, I will collaborate with persons who work in this field of development and who may be able to share practical advice and techniques that I may not yet be.

• I have received 7 A grades in the Bahamas Junior Certificate (BJC) Examinations and was recognized nationally.
• I was given the opportunity to speak on the Beyond the Headlines TV program for a Back to School Special.
• I am the Treasurer of my School’s cheerleading team: “Queen’s College Cheerleading.”
• I was chosen to represent my school and am currently participating in a ten (10) month leadership program called BYLD (Building Youth Leadership Development Program)
• I qualified to take all my BGCSE examinations in grade 11 and recently completed all sittings
• I have remained on the Honor Roll List at Queen’s College since grade 7
• I participate / speak at youth events at Bahamas Faith Ministries (BFM)
• I have been appointed Deputy Head Girl for the academic Year 2023/2024 at Queen’s College
• Received 5 A Grades in my BGCSE National Examination taken early in Grade 11.
• First Bahamian to enter the Miss Teen Mundial Pageant. Placing in the top 15 and winning Ms. Congeniality.

Fears

I was once afraid of dogs……terrified of dogs. However, I have overcome that fear and can be near other dogs. In fact, I now have a puppy of my own!

What does Fruits of Purpose Mean to You?

When I think of Fruits of Purpose I think of a figurative meaning. To me we are the fruits and inside of us are the unleashed potential within us (the seeds) which are waiting to be released to make an impact on our generation and beyond.

What would representing your country internationally mean to you?

1. Allows me to make my inner child supersede my childhood expectations. The joy I have felt since entering the pageant beyond explanation as I never imagined this would be something I could ever do.
2. Allows me to form relationships with persons from other countries and collaborate with other like- minded young ladies to create impactful ideas which can be implemented in my hometown.

Who’s a former Queen you admire and Why?

Amani Stuart. Ironically Amani and I are not related but I admire her so much because to me she is a true example of beauty and brains. She placed great importance on education, which dismissed the negative notions people may have had about “pageant girls” and Amani is always so wise in her response.

What would you like to accomplish during your reign?

During my reign I would like to help at least 100 young person’s break free from the chains of insecurity whether that may be social insecurity, physical insecurity or intellectual insecurity and pursue their gifts and talents without being hindered by fear. Whether it is by offering funding to young businesses or by hosting community competitions to highlight different gifts and talents, those are some of the things I would like to achieve during my reign.

She has made it her life’s mission to inspire and guide generations towards fulfilling their potential.
