Miss Bahamas Teen Contestant 2025
MY DAILY BELIEFS ARE:
- When you focus on enhancing things that no one can take away from you, you become truly unstoppable.
- Everyday above ground is a great day.
- Limits like fears are often just illusions
- There is nothing in this world that can hurt you as much as your thoughts. Conversely, there is nothing in this world that can heal you as much as your thoughts.
THE MOVIE/ BOOK THAT HAS MOST INFLUENCED MY LIFE IS:
“The Pursuit of Happyness”. It’s a work of art that’s taught me the one characteristic that will determine your level of success is “grit”. Being determined, persistent, and believing in oneself are essential components of overcoming adversity and achieving happiness and success, even in the face of hardship.
WHO WOULD I LIKE TO MEET AND WHY:
I would love to meet the late Princess Diana. Despite the fact that she passed away almost a decade before I was born, her legacy still lives on in the hearts of so many people today. When it comes to her humanitarian efforts and the long lasting impact she had around the world, I want to be just like her.
I AM MOTIVATED BY:
The fear of being average and not reaching my greatest potential. Years from now, I want to be able to look back at my life and know that I made the most of every opportunity that God has given me to be a better version of myself and, more importantly, to make the world a better place. So I encourage every person who may be reading this to always choose the “pain” of discipline over the pain of regret.
WHAT I WOULD LIKE THE JUDGES TO KNOW ABOUT ME IS:
I understand the responsibility that comes with representing my country on an international stage. I’ve had the privilege to do this numerous times due to excelling in past extra-curricular activities. It has allowed me to experience that moving with integrity and pride must be done not just for “Leylah Knowles” but for my Bahamian people.
