MY DAILY BELIEFS ARE:
To be the best version of myself that I can be, and to push myself to go past that. I also believe that as long as I remain faithful to God, I can do anything I put my mind through, even when I am discouraged, He will make a way.
THE BOOK/MOVIE THAT HAS MOST INFLUENCED MY LIFE:
The book that has the most influence on my life is the Bible. It contains a multitude of powerful messages and lessons for various situations you might encounter in life.
WHO I WOULD LIKE TO MEET AND WHY:
I would like to meet the President of the United States. I would like to have a conversation with the President about the unfair laws being passed against the homeless. For example, in Florida, there is an agenda to ban homeless people from sleeping on public property. Where else are they supposed to sleep, and is the solution to this law being passed is to house these people?
I AM MOTIVATED BY:
God first. All that I do is to worship and make Him proud. Secondly, my family. I am motivated to not waste the money my parents spend to support me and make me happy. I am motivated by my niece to be a good role model and someone that she can look up to. I am motivated by my siblings to follow in the footsteps they have laid before me. Finally, I am motivated by my personal drive to improve and be a better person every day.
MY COMMUNITY SERVICE/ACHIEVEMENTS ARE:
During my time at Temple Christian, I served as prefect in the 6th grade. I have been dancing at Lawrence Carroll Dance Academy since I was 3 years old. I achieved 9 BJC examination passes, most notably, 3 As in mathematics, English language, and social studies. I was also a greeter and your guide at my current school, Queen’s College, for our most recent Leadership Day. Most of all, I do my best to help others in need whenever I can.
WHAT I WOULD LIKE THE JUDGES TO KNOW ABOUT ME:
I would like the judges to know that I am an open-minded person. Although I have strong opinions of my own, I am always ready to hear other people’s ideas and beliefs. I live my life by always considering perspectives outside of my own to make decisions and choices.
DESCRIBE YOURSELF IN THREE WORDS:
Playful – I chose this word because I love to laugh and make jokes with people. I think that anybody who knows me would agree.
Faithful – I have faith and confidence in the fact that life will be okay no matter what obstacles I may face. My favorite quote is by John Lennon, ‘Everything will be okay in the end. If it is not okay, it is not the end.’
Feminine – I am a girly girl! I love makeup, fashion, even pink! I strongly present myself through grace and femininity.
